MUCS book launch "From Chalk and Talk to PowerPoint"

On 29 May, MUCS hosted the book launch of 'From Chalk & Talk to Powerpoint' by Dr Valda McRae, (a history of the first 1000 meetings of MUCS).

The launch was followed by the 109^th MUCS Presidential Address "Making non-stick coatings out of thin air: Guiding science through to technology with the Australian Synchrotron", Prof Rob Lamb, University of Melbourne. The event was well attended and past and present staff, graduates, students and other interested groups gathered for drinks and refreshments in the School of Chemistry foyer afterwards.
