Over 50 staff and students attended the 2014 School of Chemistry third year dinner was held at University House.
The 2013 School of Chemistry third year dinner was held on Thursday of week 11, following on from a gruelling week of third year project talks and report submissions. Forty-eight academic staff and third year students enjoyed a very convivial dinner at University House. Acting Head, Professor Richard O'Hair, congratulated the students on the pending completion of their degree and invited them to consider a future that might involve research in chemistry.

Forty-two staff and third year students enjoyed a convivial semi formal dinner at University House. There was much to celebrate, with semester nearly over and third year research projects had finished the week before.

17 staff members and 25 third year students from the School of Chemistry enjoy a convivial evening meal at University House. A long standing tradition, the annual third year dinner offers staff and students a chance to let their hair down and get better acquainted in an informal setting. In a brief speech, the Head of School Frances Separovic, welcomed the students and encouraged them to consider pursuing further studies in chemistry after completing their undergraduate degree. After dinner a number of staff and students headed off to a local bar to continue the celebrations.
