MUCS runs a public lecture series that encompasses all aspects of chemistry.
The Melbourne University Chemical Society (MUCS) engages the university community and the general public on chemistry related issues through events and seminars.
Seminar speakers are drawn from the School, the wider University community, other Australian and overseas universities and industry. The lecture series includes annual Memorial Lectures for former staff members Don Stranks and Geoff Feutrill. In addition, in alternate years MUCS presents the Lady Masson Memorial Lectures jointly with the University. MUCS has held meetings every year since its inception in 1903.
