Chemistry hosts Art Mystery Event
On June 6, the School of Chemistry hosted a Chemistry Art Mystery evening presented by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Free Radical Chemistry & Biotechnology and Quantum Victoria.
The event was attended by around 50 University of Melbourne alumni who donned detective coats for the evening to solve an art forgery mystery with chemistry experiments and information about the history of the paintings in question.
The event was modeled on a program developed by the Free Radical Centre and Quantum for secondary school students.
